NCERT Solutions for Class 9 Maths Chapter 5, ‘ Introduction to Euclidean Geometry’ discusses the Euclid’s (mathematician) approach to geometry and links it with the present day geometry. Euclid’s geometry is in contrast to coordinate geometry, it proceeds logically from axioms describing basic properties of geometric objects such as points and lines, to propositions about those objects, all without the use of coordinates to specify those objects.
