How is NTSE Conducted?

NTSE is conducted in two stages: Stage 1 is conducted state-wise & union territories wise. Stage 2 is conducted by NCERT, only for the students who are selected in stage 1. It is only one test across the nation. No interview is conducted at any stage.

What is the eligibility criteria of NTSE?

Students of class X studying in any recognized school including Kendriya Vidhyalaya, Military school & Sainik school can appear in NTSE stage 1.

NTSE awards about 1000 scholarships every year.

Stage 2Personalized Interview Session

Followed by online test, student will be subjected to personalized interview session based on their performance in online test. (Only those students will be interviewed whose online performance will be above the benchmark set by Ntseguru Team.)

Interview will be conducted by National Experts from varied walks of life.
Along with the subject knowledge; aptitude, passion to achieve goals & willingness to work hard will be considered. The Panel will not only consider the present performance of student, but will guide for the future endeavors.
